Watchung Hills Regional High School is the fourth highest ranking public high school in Somerset County. The school serves students from portions of both Somerset and Morris County however it is located in Warren Township in Somerset County. It is a large school with 2,012 students currently enrolled and a student to teacher ratio of 13:1. The school has recently undergone major renovations and includes a new state-of-the-art theatre including two catwalks with a spotlight booth. Students are also able to work with the latest technology in all of their classes, and there are hundreds of computers available to work on. The school has several successful sports teams and the past three years have seen three state champion wrestlers amongst the students.
The focal point of the educational program is the student. Students are taught to think logically and critically and to achieve their fullest academic potential. The school encourages individual self-realization along with social and civic responsibility. The educational program strives to create an awareness of and a tolerance for other cultures and an understanding of moral and aesthetic values.
